Resurrection Preschool has been providing a developmentally age-appropriate, Early Childhood Program in the community since 1964. Our faith-based curriculum provides each child with a strong foundation to ensure future success, as well as teaches them that they are treasured children of God. Our curriculum is based on the recommendations of developmentally appropriate practice and follows the Illinois Early Learning Standards.  Our "play with purpose" approach to curriculum is designed to stimulate developmental learning and places a strong emphasis on social interaction, problem-solving, exploration, self-control, self-expression, and coordination. We believe children learn best when they are doing hands-on projects, games, and experiments. All activities rotate around weekly themes and develop skills found in the IL Early Learning Standards. Our goal is to provide the best educational opportunities for each child to achieve their ultimate potential academically, spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically.

The classroom is organized in learning centers of activity, which include: writing, reading, math/science, fine motor, art, blocks, sensory, pretend, and more. Group times for music, story reading, and active play are planned with the interests and attention span of a young preschooler in mind.

Resurrection Preschool is licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services and follows the Illionis Early Learning Standards.

To be eligible for enrollment, children must be three years old by August 31st, independently toilet-trained, and be current in all their immunizations.
