BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY

Once again, we are coming to the close of another Summer. For many, it seems the summer days go by way too fast and for a few others, these days simply signify another season just around the corner… football season!

Actually, during the month of September as many are settling back into their schools and jobs following vacation, we also know this is a time for people to look to the church once again for inspiration and fellowship.

We all need "a renewal of energy" when it comes to spiritual matters. LCR itself is going through a time of “transition” right now. Our called Pastor, the Rev. Mary Appelt Graves, retired at the end of June, and we have been actively exploring many options as we move forward, but everyone’s help is needed!

That’s why we set aside one special day at the end of the summer to "rally" - to "come together for a common purpose", for worship, for digging into God’s Word, for playing together, for praying, for serving, and showing that we are STRONGER TOGETHER.

Join us on Back to Church Sunday, September 17th as we kick-off our new year and celebrate the coming season, and learn about all the exciting things that are transpiring at LCR. We will start with our worship service at 9:30 a.m., and we will continue our celebration with a potluck lunch.

Bring your friends and neighbors and join us. We would love to see you all again! All are welcome!
